On 20th May afternoon  a robbery took place in an upscale neighborhood one block from the beach. The suspect was an armed man, who barged into a Huntington Beach home, overpowered a woman who was  in her mid -20s and stole cash and jewelry .

According to the Police, women lived with her husband and was alone on the day of the robbery when the suspect knocked on the door, when the lady opened the door he forced his way in  and was armed with a handgun.

The suspect had tied up the victim in the bathroom, where the victim tried calling out for help from her bathroom window and asked her neighbor to call 911 and inform them about the robbery and the armed man in her home. Though no one really knows what happened to the victim and how did the suspect escape from the crime scene . “It’s incredibly disturbing to think that what could happen in broad daylight and in a community where we all take care of each other and take care of each other’s home when we’re away,” said Schafer.

Police described the suspect as a white male, between 25 and 28 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a thin build. He has collar-length curly blond hair. Good part is that our Police department is on its toes at all times and so the suspect was finally arrested.
